The Norden Bombsight was a significant factor in the success of World War 2. It was created in 1932 and gave military opperatives the abillity to know where to send their bombs from long distances and hit a direct target. This machine has over 2000 parts to it and was very complicated which caused it to not work perfectly. This was due to the fact that the machine was an analog device. This created imperfections in the gears and made it hard to manufacture with perfect precision. This device was a model for the real world. When the change was made from an analog device to a digital device, calculations were more exact becasue if you ran the same calculation twice you would always get the same answer.
