Explain the advantages and limitations of a digital representation in a historical as well as modern context

In a historical context, digital representation had many limitations compared to in the modern context, how many advantages it has. Historically, communication was not the best quality and was not always the most reliable way of communicating with another person. Over time it is always being improved and companies are finding new ways to make communication easier and more fun with people no matter the distance between them. When it first was invented, communciation could not be as far and had to be connected by a wire. Not only was this an inconvenience but the quality of communication was not up to the standard it is today. Historically there was many problems with analog communication between people. When using this, the device couldn’t tell the difference between the signal being transmitted and the noise being sent. This created a static sound that was hard to interpret on the other end of the phone call. When switching to digital there were many advantages that were added to communication. One of the advantages was the ability for a communciation device to have reliable repeatability. This means that when you would dial a number that you wanted to contact, you would actually get in contact with that number and not a random person.
